However when using this filter pump intex 28633eg krystal clear cartridge filter pump for above ground pools 2500 gph pump flow rate 110120v with gfc i also use plunger valves with an intex pro series frame pool the one thats gray with the tiled bottom liner 18x48 you can simply attach the hoses that came with the pump directly to the strainer basket bottom and the return

While you can screw both those hoses into the actual filter stopplunger valves the other two sides will fit on the basket and return if you simply slide back the threaded connector

The filter that came with the pool had hoses that were 114 and the hose that came with the sand filter was 112
