Pros & Cons
Pros
Can of chili without beans and a can of cheddar cheese soup. The tamales go very well with the chili and are a bit spicier than the chili itself.
The masa is delicious, melts in your mouth. The sauce is thin and tasty, the corn a little sweet.
Amazon's price on these is the best i've seen since the 99 cent store stopped carrying them. I know, they aren't truly authentic style, but they taste so * good! I buy these at the grocery store a lot and my boyfriend loves them.
Cons
Cheap-tasting, crumbly cornmeal, with a mysterious filling, swimming in a chili flavored water. The beef has zero texture!
