Most video apps like netflix and prime video do not work due to legal issues but you can watch youtube videos on it

All you need is the adapter plus your lightening cable an hdmi and you are ready to display your phone screen onto any screen

The reason i am giving this product 3 stars instead of 5 is because you are not able to cast videos from the youtube app onto a screen

What i mean by this is the moment i click a youtube video the screen turns black and i have to reconnect the adapter

I tested youtube in browser and it works properly showing any video so i believe the issue is on the youtube app itself

Overall this is a really useful adapter for general purpose i am just subtracting 2 stars because of the lack of youtube app support once again this can be worked around if you use youtube in browser
