You can just simply swap out the thermostat from the t6 pro (non wifi) th6210u2001. Just by removing from the wall and changing the screen plate. With the wifi version, the screen is always on/lit, but you can configure the brightness or have it off. ... Read More

I am an electrical process control engineer and do not need tech support if a product works. I am unhappy with it and may try to install and setup one of the newest brands that i already own.
The honeywell thermostat app doesn't always work properly. The temperature can drop to 25 below zero.

For the most part we just changed the face plates

Set up was a little trickier it took several failed attempts before we put the phone into airplane mode then it worked the first time

The thermostat has many contractor required programmable functions but most of the factory presets are fine so i just left them alone

Connecting to my wifi was a little tricky and i had to go through the process a couple of times until it connected

Integrating into alexa wasnt as straight forward as i thought because the honeywell home skill is unavailable as of 122021

Honeywells tech support is awful but if you follow these steps youll never have to wait 2 hours to talk to them

Usually just a wifi glitch with only 2 that needed to be replaced under warranty
