The HomeSpot Bluetooth Audio Receiver is a sturdy and reliable addition to your home audio setup. If you don't have speakers with Bluetooth built-in, this is one of the best devices, especially for the price, to provide that capability.The device is subtle with its sleek black design, making it blend in with your entertainment center or office setup with ease. There is a faint blue light that blinks on the front, but it is so subtle that you won't even notice it in a dark room unless you are looking right at it. The Bluetooth signal strength is great. I can connect to it and it will continue playing even if I take my phone across the house nearly 50 feet with multiple walls in between.I choose to leave it plugged in which makes the device ready to pair with at all times. Once you have your device paired, it will remember it and you can connect without troubles whenever you want. What I like about it, but others may not so just to make you aware, is that it will not connect to your device automatically when it gets in range or if you turn on Bluetooth (on your phone for example). To me that is a plus, since I want it to always be available to connect to, but not commandeering my phone when I don't want it to. An equivalent device that will do that, for example, is the Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter for Bluetooth Streaming I find them both to be comparable in all else, but the Logitech adapter will connect automatically to any device that gets in range that has connected to it in the past. So I have been listening to music in my car, and when I pull into the driveway, it will take over. I find this annoying, so just pointing that out if you find that useful.Finally, onto the audio quality, it is partly going to be determined by what sound system you have it plugged into. For any home theater systems or office desk speakers, it provides a great and robust sound. I have tried others receivers before that made the output wimpy, especially in the bass area. Not so with this little guy. I give it five stars in that scenario. However, just as an experiment, I tried to use it in a car that was lacking built-in Bluetooth, and was sorely disappointed. The bass was seriously hampered and felt like it was cutoff in some frequency bands. The reason it stood out so much in the car vs home setup was the fact that the car had a sub with an amp that made the missing low frequencies (like 40ish hertz and below that were absent) stand out since those are the frequencies that really hit hard and bring the fun in having the sub in your car. But, again, that was more for an interesting experiment since the device is intended for home audio and it does truly shine in that arena.  Read Less
