The ice machine comes with a 1/2 mpi female connection. You need one of these to connect to a garden hose connection. Mip brass hose adapter,brass garden hose fitting.
Cons
It makes ice, then 4 hours later the ice melts! When working it produces plenty of ice. When it throws an e code it turns off the machine and your ice melts. Ice making error or refrigerant leak.

When i tightened it the adapter cracked

I have not been able to connect the water dump hose from the melted ice permanently to the pipes under the dump sink so right now i have it draining into a bucket
