The wood grain looks real enough and has a texture. Almost like fiberglass. It is precisely what i needed under my family room window for my light-loving plants!

After just a couple days the shelves appear to be as durable as advertised. The metal frame is heavy -- each shelf has a support bar under it. It looks good & is sturdy with all metal, except the shelves.

Instructions are detailed and understood easily. My husband hates to assemble things and i am what’s known as a challenged assembler. Not difficult to assemble but a little time consuming.

It is more expensive than some other options on amazon and it wobbles and sits crooked. Amazon is useless in protecting its customers in quality control. How lame, cheap and pathetic is amazon?

The shelves are just cheap wood covered in textured vinyl which can be easily torn and damaged.
