    I put them directly into the studs with three 2 1/2 inch screws and attached my bench top, basically a 3/4 inch thick sheet of sanded plywood cut down to 2ft x 4ft.

    As you know rv walls and cabinet covers are thin, we had to beef up the fake cabinet wall with some supports on the backside.

    The first set was for a 'folding table' in the laundry room, meaning a table to fold clothes coming out of the drier.

    It is definitely made to have at least a 1x piece of wood underneath as the trigger will not allow it to fold flat if installed directly on to the wall.

    Couldn't get the table to lay flat against the wall when lowered.
