Pros
It works with flux core or gas shielded wire. Been using with argon mix and love it.
Very smooth, wand is easy to maneuver around. Well built. Well packaged. Only thing is, its quite heavy!
Cons
One wire from the voltage knob wasn't attached either. The gears are not a servicable part and requre replacement of the entire gun and gearbox. Had a welder from harbor freight previously and had better luck with that wire fed than this junk.

If you are new to welding do some reading on the subject and definitely read the instructions that come with the welder
