Hikvision support isnt great the troubleshooting and faqs on its website are very general and dont offer much guidance

Youll have to do several web searches and watch youtube videos to learn how to configure the settings on your router to use the camera on your home network as well as viewing from remote internet access

My antivirus software was actually blocking the cameras ip address i found a solution on some obscure web forum

Also i still dont know how to focus this camera luckily the factory settings were good for me but there is no help in the manual
