Originally it was on an original shower arm which was to low in height i installed it and initially it leaked so i put more teflon on it 10 wraps of tape and really tightened it down no leak and everything worked good so i said ok i am going to buy another shower arm flange and raise the height of the shower head i took the sierra off and put it on the one you see in the pic 10 wraps of tape and really tighten it down now its 3 inches above my head and works great i just have to get use to having water that high pouring on me i do feel the price is excessive by about 15 but made in america made me pay a little more  Read Less
