I just got the little dot mkii tube headphone amp and they pair with the hifiman ed

After playing with eq on my pioneer xdp300r i was blown away with the bass

The soundstage is noticeably larger and more detailed with the hifiman ed x headphones

With that in mind if that is your cup of tea look at the hd800 and you will never want to buy another pair again

They are larger than my he 400i headphones

The hifiman edition x definitely rank as the best headphones ive heard

If warm sound is your type these will be heaven to your ears

They dont sparkle but rather roll off to create a forward yet nonfatiguing sound
