The highest pin makes the stand just long enough for a standard bass guitar but any longer and the guitar might touch the floor

Easily holds my sg and lp hold the tutors 335 casino etc guitars weight and length not sure if it would hold a flying v correctly

Earlier versions of these stands had problems with the centre grips after a while the rubberised coating degenerated to become very sticky and the plastic would break at the pivot points sometimes resulting in complete collapse and damage to guitars

I needed one without the two lower arms as they would foul against the lead or radio transmitter when left plugged in

However as this is made to fit all guitars it didnt quite fit my fender jag

What i mean by that is the back of the grip seems too high to the point of making the guitar rest on the first low e tuner and i dont think thats very healthy for the guitar itself
