Pros

With wax paper this thing is awesome. Making homemade tortillas is so easy now. One trick is to use plastic wrap (not wax paper) when pressing the tortilla.

Cons

The dough sticks horribly and you can't get a proper tortilla. Broke and messed up my finger after 8 tortillas. Buyer beware as the term usually is.

Cast iron is heavier than this for the size. The tab for the hinge was snapped off.

Even pre seasoned cast iron isn't deep black its darkish gray until the owner cooks on it a bunch. This is not enameled like some cast iron cookware sometimes is for aesthetics and ease of care.
