One feature that i liked was that it has a manual adjustment dial to set essentially an edid of your choice for tricking your source device to feed out to different device types even if they are not present including 3d so you can use this to fake out a 3d bluray player into playing 3d bluray disks without necessarily connecting to a 3d monitor

Normally if the bluray player does not see a 3d tv attached to it it wont play a 3d disk at all

All in all i am thrilled about this product and i highly recommend it if you need to split not only 1080p hd sources for which there are many competent splitters to chose from but also 3d and presumably 4k though that was not tested by me

I tried to connect my sound bar to it using hdmi and i got a picture but no audio

I got it in and noticed there was actually only 2 hdmi outputs and one hdmi input
