Regarding other funding agencies the specifics of each agency are different the authors frequently discuss the difference between nih and nsf and the book may be of limited help beyond nsf

Much of the information found in this book is scattered across the nsf webpages and is therefore freely available

If the information wasnt available mostly online i would certainly say this is a must buy

Im not sure if the authors chose a very small font because they worked with the nsf so long theyre just accustomed to it and dont notice or if they chose it intentionally to get readers accustomed to it either way the tiny font was about the only thing i didnt like about this book

The authors were very organized and very thorough they are also well aware of how often things can change and include websites and references to ensure that readers can readily find the absolute newest information no matter when they pick up the book
