I had mine seem like a doa unit as it wouldnt turn the magnetic stirrer

So i opened it up and saw a part i assume was the coil bent over into the pair of magnets in the center

I also use a vortex 2 stir plate which has a larger surface area and a faster spinner but a weaker magnet

The ad doesnt tell you that it comes with a 1 x 38 tefloncoated stirring bar
