Pros
Easy to install, just needed a screw driver no drill.
The opening and closing mechanism feels very satisfying. Loved the look of this hook.
The hook itself is sturdy metal. Won't rust. Went in easily and holds nicely. Nice and sturdy.
Cons
The included screw is not long enough to reach and sufficiently * a wood beam. The screw needs more threads to not come out and it needs to be stronger. It looks flimsy to hold 100 lbs as it advertised and like i said it pulled out next day.

A wood backing was added to dry wall and a 532 toggled bolt was used to replaced the screw that came with the hook
Had to go for quality since i’m hanging plants and i want it to be safe for my kids

This item was an heirloom that belonged to my father too big to fit on any shelf too sentimental to throw in a closet or in the garbage so i really had nowhere to put this other than to hang it in my office
