It's a really great gift to get someone, because of its fine craftsmanship. I love this journal so much i have it saved in my cart to buy again. Was thrilled with the journal.
The journal has a wonderful leather scent to it and is of very good quality. The exterior is real leather, has a nice appearance and feel. Just the amount of rustic i am looking for.
Perfect for journaling and also for gifting someone. The binding is very carefully constructed of 8 banks of 12 doubled and hand-laced-together sheets.
The size is just right to toss in everything from a backpack to handbag so you can jot down your ramblings even on the go. Would order another in the future.
Cons
About 1 1/2 inches. Too thick for my liking. It's a bit over priced for what it is. This thing is junk.
Using a posca pen is a no because it makes lil chunks appear on the paper and wont go on evenly. The paper is very thin and if you tear one page out a small group of paper falls out. The leather is very nice and the paper is nice, al signs of a really... Read More

About the only way i can think of improving it would be to add a pen loop inside the bend of the overflap where there is room between it and the edge of the pages see picture
