The selfie is fine but when put on the ground with the tripod it is not very stable and can knock over if the phone is put on the side to take portrait pics

You can then unscrew the ballhead assembly leaving a standard tripod thread for you to screw your theta onto

As the shaft is smaller than the bottom of the theta it is invisible to it

The theta does not need to be oriented vertically with a ballhead it has gyroscopes that level the picture regardless of the angle of the camera

However the slot where the bluetooth remote sits does not hold the remote properlyin photo

Not sure if it’s mine or it’s how the build is but i think if i left the remote there it will surely fall off
