After reading the instructions on the second one you should use the on and off switch not let it shut itself off

As a result the lid connection is very flimsy and i expect it will be the first place this thing breaks when time comes

Also the lid doesnt stay up on its own even for a second it slams right back on which is annoying and also due to this poor plastic connection

Since this is not a teapot im not entirely sure whats the point of filtering water thats being poured out

All in all the kettle is perfectly acceptable if heavily discounted i got it for almost one third the original price the riginal price of 36 would simply be outrageous for such a basic construction and advise against it

Lid has to slammed hard to close after each fill otherwise it keeps boiling
