Pros

Two coats to the underside, and 6 to the top. This product goes on smoothly and isn't fussy. It spreads real thin so each coat is quick and easy to apply.

If your teak is dry this is exactly what you need. Hardening oils are the way to go. Much less mess than mineral spirits.

Used this to redo an outside cedar deck. It's quite a bit easier to work with, soaks into the wood more quickly and evenly. It brings out the wood grain that i couldn’t see before and leaves it matte, which i personally adore.

The only downside we found (though not a fault of the product), is that you can not use the surface for at least a week, so you have to be prepared to let it sit. It still needs time for a full cure so we will use wax paper around the sink area when i...  Read More



Cons

This is useless for the product i intended to use it on! The warnings label is in an awkward position and surprised none of it is disclosed in any reviews or the description. Be careful. Take additional precautions.

Warning for ventilation and combustible. This stuff has very strong unpleasant fumes that linger for a long time. The citrus solvent smell is over powering and will not go away!

After 3 weeks the floor is still tacky. This product is more like 80/20 solvent to ting oil.

    We would test after we had used the oil by putting droplets of water and even puddles of water on the bench bottom to see how it would hold up
