PROS:Stable, Durable, Super fun to flyCONS:Slightly harder on batteries than smaller quads, not quite as agile as some modelsMy friend and I recently caught quad fever HARD (so much so that we have begun shooting a vlog doing tests and reviews), so naturally we got on Amazon, read a bunch of reviews, and proceeded to spend an inappropriate amount of money. Of the ten or so models we have tried thus far, the Haktoys HAK905 (or Ol' Hakky as he has affectionately come to be known) is among our favorites. Sure, he's not as maneuverable as some of the smaller, buggier-shaped quads like the Hubsan X4, but he is an absolute joy to fly. Whether you're new to the quadcopter game or just looking for something different to fly, the HAK905 is a great choice. You may notice while researching the different models that the design is relatively unique, choosing to build the prop guards into the main body and opting for a tri-blade prop instead of the more common two blade design. These two factors make this quad both extremely stable as well as incredibly durable. During one of our height tests, I watched this thing drop out of the air and onto CONCRETE from approximately 75' up with only minor damage to the battery door as a result. Ol' Hakky is a drag racer, and what it lacks in agility it makes up for in speed when flying in straight lines. Unlike the more nimble quads, you have to start your banks early and braking from flat out requires the same foresight, but once you get the hang of it the HAK905 provides an extremely satisfying flying experience. Our beloved Hakky did finally meet his demise, not in an epic flameout flight like he deserved, but by the maw of an overzealous and thoroughly reprimanded puppy. However, when we have finished our latest batch tests, paid our bills, and can rationalize dropping the cash for a replacement, we will definitely be ordering and unboxing his successor, Hakky 2 Electric Boogaloo.   Read Less
