I am mixed with a weird texture and curl pattern that makes it incredibly hard to control

I am black and have tight curls in my hair so i knew this tool wouldnt completely straighten my hairfrankly i didnt expect it to

Also when combing your hair its really easy to accidentally hit the temperature buttons and change it or even turn it off

The only downside is that it cant get as close to the scalp as a regular straightener so it couldnt reach the hairs closest to my forehead

The placement of the heat dial exactly where my thumb holds it makes it worse
