So far...I LOVE THIS THING!Day one, took it out of the box and must admit to feeling like a little kid at Christmas. I'm a 47 year old male who is kind of particular about my house. I have 2 Dobermans that are mild to medium shedders and 4 cats that are definitely shedders and a teenager who puts Pig-pen (from Snoopy) to shame. I found myself having to vacuum once to twice a day to keep the hair and grit tracked in by the little critters picked up. Thus, the reason why I decided to try one of these vacuums. I did as much research as I could and found that I probably shouldn't expect too much from these Robotic vacuums this one so far has proven my thinking wrong. Honestly I couldn't find that many reviews on this particular brand/model. Although I have heard of the company before I have never (to my knowledge) owned a Haier product before. The price on this unit was great and it seemed to have the features that I was looking for so I bought this brand and model and am quite happy that I did.The easiest way to read reviews, at least for me, is to see a list of the good and bad. I also believe that we should all review the products we buy to force the manufacturers to address issues and to ultimately make better products. If when deserved, bad products get bad reviews and thusly good products get good reviews it should force the quality of products to rise to keep the market competitive. With that being said:Good:Came ready right out of the box-little to no set-up required.Easy to understand instructions and very little instruction necessary to operate this vacuum. This vacuum is GREAT at picking up animal hair, grit and small pieces of dirt. The debris compartment is good size and adequately holds enough to vacuum my entire house once. I empty it after each vacuuming of the entire house. Standard size American house. With all the animals that spend most of the time inside, especially during the winter (which it is right now), I think it does a great job of keeping the floors clean. It does a pretty good job of recognizing obstacles and deals with them-especially drop offs (stairs etc.). I even placed it on my counter tops to see how it would respond and it did not fail. It recognized the drop off(s) and moved from it each and everytime. Very impressed with that. The invisible wall feature works well.Has a pretty powerful motor to climb up and over things. It moves my wooden kitchen chairs without issue. It climbs over the door thresholds with no problems.I have very thick rugs in my front room (without tassels) and it handles them without issue.I love how this thing goes under my furniture (most of it anyway) and gets the dirt and hair from those hard to reach places.Does great on all hard floor surfaces. The mopping attachment does a good job. It doesn't scrub anything down but I didn't expect it to though. It does a good job of keeping the floors nice and clean. It will get stuck under things more often with the mop attachment on, this is due to the increased height of the vacuum with the attachment.Bad:There is nothing overwhelmingly bad about this product but some issues to be aware of.The battery takes a full 3 hours to charge and the running time does not seem to match the charging time. I get about 45 minutes to an hour out of each use. Could improve the life of the battery and a quicker charging system. It does get stubborn sometimes and forces its way into places I don't want it too because it inevitably gets stuck. Yes, this machine will get stuck at times but I know where those places are now and I easily compensate for it. There are really only three places in my entire house, under the door of the dishwasher (if I would just adjust the dishwasher legs it would solve this problem but I haven't yet-not the vacuums fault). Under my bathroom sink and under my bed on one of the supports. It gets stuck between the support and the wall and for some reason can't seem to figure that spot out. When I lose him in the house I now know right where to look. All other obstacles this vacuum maneuvers around just fine. This vacuum does not do the greatest job on rugs-but I didn't expect it to. It does not have a beater brush on it to adequately deal with carpet or rugs. These vacuums are not designed for that and I knew that buying one. I have hard flooring throughout my house by design because of having animals and a teenager live with me. These vacuums are designed for hard surfaces NOT CARPETED SURFACES.You will definitely need to keep the sensors cleaned and wiped down. I do a quick wipe down after each use before it goes back to recharge. If it is not in the same room as it's charger it has a difficult time finding it. But once in the same room it has only missed the charger once and then it readjusted itself and hit the mark on the second attempt. The lower the battery charge the more difficult time it has at sensing objects and the charger-that makes sense to me.I have had the vacuum for ten days now and my opinion has not changed. I personally would not pay over $200.00 for one of these products no matter the brand. I paid a bit less than that for this vacuum and as of now I couldn't be happier with the purchase. It has saved me so much time and helps keep my house looking the way I want it to. IF customer service is good (which I don't know if it is or not because I haven't had to use it) and IF this vacuum will last a decent length of time then I couldn't praise this machine enough! It has definitely been worth the purchase. I will keep updating this review as time goes on. But ten days into it and using the vacuum daily I SAY DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY IT! Read Less
