They are much brighter than the original headlights, which were not bright enough on dim to see anything.

Brightness is ok, not as much as i though, distribution is kind of narrow and since my vehicle's headlights aim lower than usual, i couldn't benefit as mucho as i would have wished for.

Only down side is they make your radio reception not that great it has that white noise sound the whole time.

In theory, even if these leds offer half of the maximum lumens, it would still be on par or better than a set of 35w hids.
