I dont have a usb type c phone to use the checkr or current monitor apps to check for spec compliance for this cable so i cannot say definitively if this cable is spec compliant or not

Does not work at all with brand new tronsmart usb typea car charger quickcharge or otherwise however it does work with cheapo 1amp car charger

Cable is very thick and stiff and while it probably adds to the durability of the cable itself i suspect that it may negatively affect durability of phone socket if the phone is moved around
