I inherited furniture from my mother. She smoked for years! Add to that years of polish build up! It worked well removing years of grime. It just seemed to take a lot of work and product. In the end I used blue Dawn water with the rag wrung out well to take the majority of grime off, then finished with the wood cleaner. I think had them wood not had such a build u this product would have done the job well by itself.  Read Less
