I have encountered a tough clog to the bathtub that is not at the ushaped pipe under the tub but farther away where it joins a 4 ventilation pipe just about 2 before the latter joins a straight down cast iron pipe

Huge drum thing that spin and you have to feed it down while its spinning and get it all the way down to the blockage

It wouldnt fill up by the water pressure alone so it was basically useless
