Pros & Cons
Pros
The grr-ripper is a well-designed tool made with quality materials. Microjig grripper is a useful safety push-block which makes processing small stock on a table saw much safer. The grip and pressure of the grr-ripper is helpful and stands up to many ... Read More
Prefer this hands down over push stick. The green gripper on the bottom is a nice touch.
Easy to assemble with many safety featurs. Arrived quickly as well. Ideally, two are required. Thread the * carefully so that they don't misalign.
Cons
This sticker voids that warranty, according to micrjig. This is just way to expensive for what it does, especially considering the monumental down sides.
The grr ripper is probably fine for very short boards to be ripped but is a hassle for material longer than about a foot or so. Most injuries take place while ripping with the saw guards removed.
This thing needs constant adjusting. Mostly this is just not worth the trouble to reset all the time and i revert to my old push stick. Back to the push stick or a paddle with a rubber sole.
The gripper is only a piece of molded plastic. Because of the distance between the slots on the gripper the plastic parts get jammed sideways. Using two grippers, as is recommended with longer boards, is cumbersome and awkward.

Price
Best money ive spent on my saw since the biesmeyer fence
Ask yourself the price of a finger or two if you are concerned about the price
I could have avoided the 60000 and growing bill for the finger repair from testing the table saw blade for sharpness
It is a little expensive but i think it is worth the cost
Shipping
Package arrived when promised and in good condition
Packaging/appearance
This was in the accessory box with the instruction booklet so i read up on it watch some of microjig’s excellent videos shoutout to morgan
Just make sure you check to see that all the parts are in the box when it arrives
It does what it says on the box it helps you grip and feed your workpiece into the saw blade while keeping your meaty bits away from it
Competitiveness
If you use a table saw made by anyone other than sawstop you should probably have at least one

One example is pushing the board across the blade with the grrripper straddling the blade and securing the board on both sides of the cut
