The image clarity is very good especially when youre playing ps2 games that does and doesnt support progressive scan on your hdtv

Obviously you shouldnt have your expectations set too high most ps2 games werent made to support the resolutions that a lot of us experience with modern games nowadays and even if there was thered be a really small number of them out there and youd have to get some really special cablesconverterswhich will cost you some money to support the higher resolutions
