This replaced my worn out mousepad and allows me to have a clear zone that I have determined to keep free from any non-work items.As a desk mat / mouse pad, it's great! Although I actually bought it for the white side, I found that it wouldn't lay completely flat when unrolled and laid opposite to how it was shipped. I tried rolling it the opposite way, I rolled it over the edge of the desk, and I even applied some heat to it while rolling the opposite way. Every time the edges would lift slightly. No worries, I actually now prefer the contrasting color on my desk to help me keep random items from taking up my space!   Read Less
