Pros

The book is an enlightening and informative look at the depravity and hubris of human nature as law enforcement endeavors to entrap one of their own. He concludes with a discussion of how hacking and spying have become synonymous and pose real dangers...  Read More

Eric o'neill is a cybersecurity expert and a former fbi agent. During his mission he learns that he is part of a decades long mole hunt.

This book succeeds on those accounts. Truly an unforgettable book. Thank you for your service to our country and also providing us with such an inspiring contribution with this book.

Eric o’neill deftly tells the tale of how he courageously spied on his spymaster boss robert hanssen. O'neill’s final judgement of hanssen the man is complex and seems fair.

It's a nail-biter at times and just plain exciting at others. Very engaging in every way for your senses. Having grown up in the dc area i was fascinated!

Cons

Eric's a nice guy and a good ssg member but this book is so full of bs! Not my style. Eric takes a great spy story and turns it into hours or eric o’neil trying to blow himself.

There is a bit of embellishment sprinkled throughout the book but i absolutely expected that a good story teller uses embellishment like a chef uses spices
