Highlights
Quality
No such worries with these as the material used is strong and the quality is very good
With the tusq saddle these pins substantially boosted the sustain and depth of my vintage eko ranger 6
Sound quality did improve over the plastic pegs
These pins were installed at my next string change and i am satisfied
Price
For the cost you cant beat it
Packaging/appearance
These pins arrived in excellent packaging and the tusq material fully met my expectation of high quality
Now i have installed the tusq bridge pins to replace some plastic pins i bought ages ago
They also provide a graph in the packaging info but i think that it was a test using both the tusq pins and replacement saddle
First i installed the tusq fully compensated saddle
Competitiveness
I put these and a tusq saddle and nut on an acoustic
These pair nicely with a tusq bridge and nut
I give them a 5 star rating but ding price one star

Bone pins will add a bit more nuance than these do but 200 of the money for a 5 tone difference just isnt worth it at times

You do not want the pin to be tight when the skirt of the pin touches the wood of the bridge or the head of the pin sticking up over the bridge
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
When this happens it is possible for the bridge to split between the pins if the humidity raises very much not to mention it can also make the pins very difficult to remove in general

If you have to push really hard and the pin doesnt go all the way to the bottom it is not fit properly

This reamer only has one flute so it makes it much more difficult to take out too much material and permanently screw up your bridge
