The bristles are soft on the gums yet are able to get a solid scrubbing. The double sided brush is the best! Since they are just learning their brushing skills, this brush makes it easy because it is double sided!

Easy for independent tooth brushing. Allows a good brushing before he squirms loose.
Cons
Overall, the brush is okay but i think it'd be better suited for an infant since they mainly drink their meals and don't eat much solids. Ya this is after two uses.
