Getting them set up is a challenge if you don’t watch the video in the reviews

One evening they wouldnt come on and alexa announced that they have either lost power or wifi connection
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I doublechecked the power and it was fine and since it was late and i didnt feel like further troubleshooting i rebooted my wifi router and yes that fixed it

But the app couldnt connect to that one bulb on presumably the same wifi network

Id assume user error except that they all worked fine for several weeks until this started happeningand not with each one

I never considered the wifi frequency as these things dont even connect on 5ghz
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Its a simple solution and your wifi router probably already is using different ssids for its 2
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
By using the same ssid name the bulbs would occasionally attempt to connect to the correct ssid
