You can adjust the phone in the cradle to align with the camera on the phone after that your set

It’s nice being able to take pictures in my phone of what the spotting scope is viewing but as an unexpected sidebenefit it also allows me to show other spectators the view of the scope on the camera’s view screen without them having to get their eye right up on the scope so no movement or focus change in the scope from people bumping it while looking at the view

This mount would not attach firmly to my telescope and moved pretty easily

It also would not hold the camera lens of my iphone xr in the center of the eyepiece the clamp was on the power button to get the camera in place and would try to turn off
