Pros
Mum sprays it with a catnip spray, which makes it even more appealing. It's so popular the cats form a queue to play with it.
Scratches it straight away and has been using. Missy his sister is using it too. After almost 5 years it shows no signs of wear. Hung in the place naughty tom scratches the wallpaper.
Bought this in an attempt to reduce the temptation of my cat clawing my new sofa. They use this much more and you can hear they dig their claws right in it. We have one up stairs and one downstairs to stop her scratching the carpet.
If you have hard surface floor attach some suctions pads to the base of the wooden frame. The units come with screws and rawlplugs if fitting to a wall. Can be attached to walls or left on the floor for different scratching positions.
Big, sturdy scratching posts. It's better than the corrugated cardboard scratcher they have. They save other furniture from scratch attacks.
Cons
I was obliged to buy two. One is 17, the other 2 years old. What a shame. Shredded in days.
