    Found that’s a common issue and warranty won’t help as it’s the plastic socket keep cracking.

    Got this 5k and i made a cut on the socket, confirmed it’s metal finally, though the balls are plastic.

    In the end i decided on the 3k for my mirrorless setup (x-t20), but if i was using a larger camera this would be the only choice.
