Pros
It works good but it still stays a bit shakey when i strapped it to my cycling helmet to use with my gopro. Works great on the bike helmet. Used quite a bit with mountain biking. Good to have to record your road and mountain bike rides.
Grip pad is firm, also a good thing. Is very stable for the session go pro. Amazing stability and firm grip.
Cons
Completly worthless. Amazon needs to be aware of this. The strap we received through amazon from hellocart is not the go pro-branded model shown in the pictures.

Quality
The gopro helmet strap worked wonderfully well never slipped and is easy to put on and take off the helmet
Its made well and it holds very sturdy even after a few falls off the bike
The strap material is too thin the clamps dont hold it tight enough
Very difficult to tighten properly no matter what you do it will be a bit loose causing the camera to shake more then it should
Price
Im usually fine with aftermarket stuff if i can save a few bucks but on a mount for a 400 camera spend more and buy oem
Overpriced as all gopro branded items are but it works as it should
Packaging/appearance
I received a genuine gopro oem accessory in sealed original retail packaging
Havent used this yet but its packed into my case for trips zip lining or atving
Competitiveness
My order was sold by ritz camera
I got an akaso camera which has the same mount system as the gopro
Not super high quality but better than the other chinese made helmet straps

I expected the mount to slide on the helmet or wobble but it does nothing of the sort

My intent was to remove it when not in use but it is enough work to uninstall and reinstall that it will probably live on my helmet going forward

One knock is it didnt come with the adapter that snaps into the mount which i didnt realize until it was delivered a more thorough review of the listing might have made that obvious

The akaso system has the straps and buckles as separate items and i couldnt get it to secure easily
