Under that black mesh is a very big round hole that normal bulkhead hardware won't fit. I love that it's not a barrel (as in round and tall), it is wide and short. I would purchases again if these flaws were fixed.
Cons
The top planter has two drain holes at the back of the barrel. The inlet mesh is not good for letting the water in.

I reached out to a gutter company to put up gutters and due the dip in the lip there was no way i could set up a without it sticking and water would still pile up on the new travertine floor that recent installed which would cause mildew over time

It bows out when filled with water so im worried the faucets will start to leak or pop out

Also you cannot plant anything up top if it sits out where rain can get to it

It is a very nice looking rain collector but no good way to direct water to it and much smaller than it appears in the pics
