Pros

Can opener works by puncturing the multi-layer seal that keeps cans shut. Most commercial canneries use a food-safe glue sealant on the rim of the can.

Opens cans perfectly without a mess. I know it's gushing, but this has replaced 95%+ of my can-opening. It even opens bent cans well. Bravo good cook, bravo.

Cons

This is an inferior and dangerous product which should be recalled immediately! It is now december 2023 and it no longer works. Not return or refund eligible because of item type. Next one lasted six months and stopped cutting the cans.

The lid is pried off at the inside seam, but just barely. If you really want a “pry off” type, there’s a version that does this task better by breaking the lower seal.

Well the can opener arrived on the same day the power went out

Anyways i knew that i needed to get the can opener before the storm arrived because i had a feeling the power was going to go out

I just came across it here on amazon and decided to buy a second one to put up in case i ever need a new one
