The actual charger piece at the end of my chargers doesnt fit back through the opening so they stay put

The new one has a lower profile and is more aesthetically pleasing see my pic for the pink one i am replacing which always frustrated me because when i would grab or pull on a cable to move it for charging something it would just pop out the top

There is just one drawback which is that lightning cables will slip back through the slots because the slots are too large

Since i am using two iphones and two ipads that use lightning cables i overcame this problem by cutting 14 inch lengths of black rubber hose like the kind used for brake fluid or gasoline lines splitting them and then placing them around the lightning cables just behind the connector

It is difficult to get the cords in the slots
