These biners arrived very quickly - and are exactly as advertised - and at an excellent price.
And these are much cheaper than the big name brands out there.
I think it was just a flawed biner.
I don’t understand the few 1-star reviews of these gm caribiners.
I used as my primary biner for rigging systems.
If you’ve never had the real thing they are a bit larger than the cheaper aluminium caribiners for keys.
