Pros

The battery is 50 amp hours @ 12v so that's 600 watt-hours. A 20 watt solar panel keeps the battery topped up. Both are 10 watts but this one seems to be a bit dimmer.

Light is bright enough to see to walk and park without straining. The light is much brighter than i expected and that made me happy. It's build is sturdy and the light is bright!

The controls take a little figuring out though. I control them off a smart plug (schedule, dusk-dawn), so my lux is set to always on.

Cons

The link to the vendor's site (glw) is not the seller. I had to unscrew the bracket because they installed it in such a way that i couldn't move the bracket up. My hope is the the vender will replay saying this is simply a defect and handle a quick ex... Read More

It is far more dim than even a 1w led flashlight. Easily fills with water if not covered. Very bleak, dim, depressing light.

Light runs the battery over-night when the solar panel is not charging. Senses gate opening and turns on light quickly.

Brightness 2stars compared with the 120vac models but 5stars for our needs

Instead i connected two alligator clips to the end of a longer wire and positioned it with a wingnut its connected to a 12vdc car battery
