The overhead lights and windows in the room dont deliver enough direct light during the day aparently so we only get a soft glow at night

Unlike the current sticker stars in my sons room these stars are hard plastic that you have to put sticky pads on before you can install them

If your light source really is minimal then my suggestion is to get a black light even if you only turn it on right around the stars for a few minutes before turning off all lights
