Pros
Danica's books are great for content as well as encouraging young girls (especially) studying math. I love how danica uses actual english to explain the mathematical logic. Some of danica’s tips/tricks are wonderful that i never knew!
She takes math, and likens it to everyday situations that girls might enjoy. Math is no longer a chore, and she is eager to learn. It's a matter of how you approach it and your mindset.
Danica mckellar is an educational inspiration in this country. Mckellar's four books on math are essential for any student who is struggling with junior high to high school math. Mckellar" is pleasantly witty.
Cons
Multiple times throughout the book, it shames girls for being underweight or overweight. Many of the remarks are intentionally superfluous, so students who are not strong or motivated readers, must get past irrelevant material to get to the math.
