The next option would be a 1060 gtx 3gb or 6gb and i would wait til the price comes down on those

It has a nice factory overclock on it but my biggest complaint is that its supposed to be a binned card thats guaranteed to overclock better than other 960s but i cant get it stable at anything past 1508 mhz boost clock only 65 mhz offset from the factory oc and it throttles down 30 mhz if it gets to 63c

Although i will say if you plan to get into any of the vr stuff anytime soon i would go ahead and spring for the 970 as it has vr support
