I was a little concerned with all the stories of coil whine with the rtx2080 series but i have to say that i havent had any whine at all except maybe from my credit card

Also a custom fan speed is a must otherwise the card gets fairly hot and very loud if a custom fan speed is not set

When fans are at max the sound is bearable but you wont notice it when gaming unless you got a bad headset

Once you open the black box to gain access to the gpu make sure the gigabyte seal on the static bag has not been opened previously

Fan start stop is good however temps quite quickly creep up to 60 degrees even on web browsing so the fans will kick in
