The guitar stays in tune very well and the build quality is everything you expect out of an american made gibson
I dont think anyone would be disappointed with an explorer

This is the most comfortable guitar i have ever played by far and having owned american jacksons deans fenders ibanezes and even a prs that is saying something

Without any amp adjustments it can handle modern rock metal pop country or even jazz if your jazz is in the sonny sharrock vein

Its not a cheap guitar but it is a legendary one and makes more of a statement than all of the boring strat clones in the world put together
